Model PWRS-T8

Tributaries T8 is an 8-outlet power strip with surge suppression & noise filtration. For ease in connecting standard AC plugs and “space-hogging” wall-wart type power supplies, the Tributaries T8 power strips have been designed with outlets that rotate to give you more room. The fixed outlets have safety shutters to prohibit objects falling in the receptacle and shorting the power strip when not in use. Each Power Strip is packaged with a mounting diagram and hardware to make installation a breeze. To protect your valuable equipment, Tributaries Power Strips have been engineered with the patented X3 MOV. The X3 MOV is the most advanced MOV available in today’s surge technology. It is capable of suppressing more energy and dissipates heat faster. Tributaries Power Strips feature active filters to keep external noise from contaminating your electronics performance. Everything in a home with a motor or micro-processor generates background electronic noise. By greatly reducing this noise your electronics will yield significant performance improvements including increased dynamic range, reduced harshness and low level details that were previously masked by noise.

Tributaries T1A is a single outlet power plug that provides surge protection and noise filtration. For its small size, the T1A is the most advanced surge suppression available in a consumer product. This small model packs 540 joules of surge protection. To protect your valuable equipment, Tributaries T1A utilizes the X3MOV and packs 540 joules of surge suppression into its small size. Model PWRI-XF

Tributaries PWRI-XF is an in-wall power extension kit that provides a second layer of filtration at the remote location. This extra filtration is designed to clean up unwanted interference from in-wall unshielded Romex cabling to keep your electronics performing at their best. Tributaries XF is designed with two outlets that fit in dual gang Carlon or Raco boxes. Why dual gang? Because there are large copper chokes inside to effectively eliminate noise on the line. Power extension kits are commonly used to extend surge and filtration from a surge suppressor like Tributaries T10X to a remote device. In addition, including these remote electronics on the same ground as the rest of the system reduces the risk of ground loop issues. The One of the main features of the XF is a locking connector system which safely connects the connector to its mate on the inlet wall plate. The blue Neutrik connector is UL rated and designed specifically for safe power applications. The twist-to-lock feature allows current to flow when fully inserted and twist-locked into place. With no exposed connections, this is the safest connection available on the market. The PWRI-X is considered a dead branch circuit, and per the NEC code of 2008, it is not necessary for a licensed electrician to install. The PWRI-XF outlet is finished in a paintable matte white face plate. A green LED on the faceplate illuminates when power is connected.
