Model 4ABY

August 14, 2020 by

All Series 4 balanced Y cables are assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. Series 4 Balanced Y cables are configured FMM; with a single female XLR connector split to two male XLR connectors. 4ABY cables begin with ultra-pure highly conductive oxygen free copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications. Conductors are solid gauge to prevent grainy distortion caused by stranded wire. Tributaries precision twisted Twin-Axial cable design is perfect for balanced analog audio systems. In the Twin-Axial design there are dedicated conductors with equal impedance for positive and negative signals. The signal conductors are wrapped with dual shielding to keep noise from reaching the single path. To reduce signal hum during connection the Tributaries Series 4 XLR connectors have the female ground (pin 1) placed forward in the shell so the ground connects first. The Series 4 balanced Y adapter cable is high performance cable that looks as good as it sounds

Available in FMM configuration, the Series 4 Balanced Y cable is stocked in 12 inch lengths and sold in each.

Model UHDV

May 23, 2019 by

Tributaries UHDV VEGA is an Active Optical (AOC) Hybrid HDMI cable. This is the ultimate solution for running long distances behind walls. VEGA is a marvel of electro-optical engineering combining the best of both worlds, glass and copper. Glass fiber transports the 4 TMDS video/audio/clock and control signals while copper carries the 2-way communication of the EDID and HDCP data. Fiber Optic cable is immune to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and is capable of sending signals instantly without perceptible signal loss at longer distances than copper; the TMDS information arrives instantly without losing detail. The EDID data is transmitted in pulses, which degrade when passing through long lengths of copper cable effectively slowing the Rise Time for each pulse to a point where the signal fails. Understanding this, Tributaries developed Rise Time Restorative (RTR) Technology, a proprietary electronic circuit designed to preserve the integrity of the DDC Signal. Embedded in the display end connector, RTR Technology provides zero latency in transmitting the crucial DDC signal. VEGA has the patented Power-grip connectors. The display end is terminated with a Micro Type D HDMI connector and a Type D to A Adapter that can be removed for easy installation thru conduit. A handy pulling tool is included in the box. VEGA requires external power only at the display end. A USB power cable and AC power supply are also included.

The UHDV VEGA Series Active HDMI cable is stocked in each in lengths from 10 meter to 50 meter

Model PWRI-X

November 23, 2018 by

Tributaries PWRI-X is an in-wall power extension kit. Power extension kits are commonly used to extend surge and filtration from a surge suppressor like Tributaries T10X to a remote device. In addition, including these remote electronics on the same ground as the rest of the system reduces the risk of ground loop issues. One of the main features of the X is a locking connector system which safely connects the connector to its mate on the inlet wall plate. The blue Neutrik connector is UL rated and designed specifically for safe power applications. The twist-to-lock feature allows current to flow when fully inserted and twist-locked into place. With no exposed connections, this is the safest connection available on the market. The PWRI-X is considered a dead branch circuit, and per the NEC code of 2008, it is not necessary for a licensed electrician to install.

The PWRI-X in-wall power extension kit includes 1 Neutrik inlet, 1 power outlet and choice of 6 feet or 9 feet power cable

Model PWRI-XF

Tributaries PWRI-XF is an in-wall power extension kit that provides a second layer of filtration at the remote location. This extra filtration is designed to clean up unwanted interference from in-wall unshielded Romex cabling to keep your electronics performing at their best. Tributaries XF is designed with two outlets that fit in dual gang Carlon or Raco boxes. Why dual gang? Because there are large copper chokes inside to effectively eliminate noise on the line. Power extension kits are commonly used to extend surge and filtration from a surge suppressor like Tributaries T10X to a remote device. The PWRI-XF outlet is finished in a paintable matte white face plate. A green LED on the faceplate illuminates when power is connected.

Model PWRI-PRO

November 23, 2018 by

Tributaries PWRI-PRO is an in-wall AC power outlet system that offers filtering, surge suppression and over/under voltage protection. Noise is everywhere whether its EMI or RFI, this noise can be severe enough to adversely affect picture and sound quality in home theater equipment. The PRO incorporates filtering so you can rest assured that your equipment will perform at its best. To protect your valuable equipment, Tributaries PWRI-PRO is engineered with the patented X3 MOV. The X3 MOV is the most advanced MOV available in today’s surge technology. It is capable of suppressing more energy, faster. Most home electronics incorporate sensitive microprocessors that only function correctly when they receive stable current at the right voltage. The PWRI-PRO is the only in-wall surge protected outlet to provide under/over voltage protection. If the PRO experiences an incoming voltage fluctuation below 90VAC or over 135VAC the circuit will open, disconnecting harmful voltage levels from reaching your delicate electronics. When safe voltage returns, the PWRI-PRO will return power to the system. Tributaries offers the PWRI-PRO in-wall solution to protect your investment while making your installation clean and safe. You can count on Tributaries to bring you the best filtering and surge suppression products to protect your investment. Trust Tributaries, Power Fluctuates, we don’t.

THE PWRI-PRO fits into dual gang Raco and Carlon in-wall boxes

Model PWRS-T1A

November 23, 2018 by

Tributaries T1A is a single outlet power plug that provides surge protection and noise filtration. For its small size, the T1A is the most advanced surge suppression available in a consumer product. This small model packs 540 joules of surge protection. To protect your valuable equipment, Tributaries T1A utilizes the X3MOV and packs 540 joules of surge suppression into its small size. The X3 MOV is the most advanced MOV available in today’s surge technology. It is capable of suppressing more energy, faster. Tributaries Power Strips feature active filters to keep external noise from contaminating your electronics performance. Everything in a home with a motor or micro-processor generates background electronic noise. By greatly reducing this noise your electronics will yield significant performance improvements including increased dynamic range, reduced harshness and low level details that were previously masked by noise. The T1A is a great solution for protecting subwoofers, garage door openers, sprinkler systems, Espresso makers, in fact, any device that has electronic time readouts.

The T1A fits into any 3-pole grounded outlet
