The Tributaries UHDX 18G X-TEND Ultra High Definition HDMI cables were expertly engineered to support 18Gbps for long distance runs. The UHDX is powered by Tributaries’ innovative 18G Go! Active Technology. 18G Go! Active Technology compensates for signal attenuation inherent in copper wires. Each data line is received as an attenuated differential pair. Signal conditioning is performed on the positive and negative inputs and the result is equalized using a built-in test feature in the active electronics. In production each cable is tested and equalization values applied specifically for that cable’s unique attenuation value resulting in consistently reliable 18Gbps UHD HDMI signal transmission. These cables are directional in nature due to active electronics built into the display-end connector. The X-Tend uses a patented power-harvesting technology that only draws 5mA off the HDMI 5V line which allows the Go! Active Technology to be supported without external power supplies and will not draw down the line voltage to ensure signal integrity. That’s why Tributaries guarantees UHDX will provide 18Gbps 4K/60/Deep Color/HDR UHD HDMI signal transmission

Tributaries UHDV VEGA is an Active Optical (AOC) Hybrid HDMI cable. This is the ultimate solution for running long distances behind walls. VEGA is a marvel of electro-optical engineering combining the best of both worlds, glass and copper. Glass fiber transports the 4 TMDS video/audio/clock and control signals while copper carries the 2-way communication of the EDID and HDCP data. Fiber Optic cable is immune to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and is capable of sending signals instantly without perceptible signal loss at longer distances than copper; the TMDS information arrives instantly without losing detail. The EDID data is transmitted in pulses, which degrade when passing through long lengths of copper cable effectively slowing the Rise Time for each pulse to a point where the signal fails. Understanding this, Tributaries developed Rise Time Restorative (RTR) Technology, a proprietary electronic circuit designed to preserve the integrity of the DDC Signal. Embedded in the display end connector, RTR Technology provides zero latency in transmitting the crucial DDC signal. VEGA has the patented Power-grip connectors. The display end is terminated with a Micro Type D HDMI connector and a Type D to A Adapter that can be removed for easy installation thru conduit. A handy pulling tool is included in the box. VEGA requires external power only at the display end. A USB power cable and AC power supply are also included.

The UHDT TITAN series is Tributaries most advanced line of HDMI cables. TITAN’s advanced high-conductivity copper results in lower losses than standard OFC copper. This design has provided a method of extending the length of an 18G HDMI cable beyond what is possible with standard copper. Tributaries active UHDT cables are empowered by a patented TITAN DIGITAL module embedded in the display-end connector. This module is designed to function under HDMI 2.1 with 4 discrete channels each capable of 12Gbps (an aggregate of 48Gbps). Powered by an USB cable, TITAN delivers 3 discrete voltages that work independently of the HDMI source’s 5V supply preventing voltage variations from the source. TITAN is also the first active solution engineered with an 18Gbps DDC accelerator designed for cables longer than 10 meters. TITAN requires external power only at the display end. A USB power cable and AC power supply are included. Tributaries UHDT TITAN will provide guaranteed stable 18Gbps performance for 25 meters.

The UHD HDMI cable is Tributaries basic go-to HDMI cable. The UHD is Tributaries no frills, economical level 18Gbps UHD HDMI cable but it is no slouch. Engineered for low noise signal transmission, the 30AWG digital signal conductors are precision twisted and have three layers of shielding. The connector is protected from EMI and RFI interference by an overall copper foil shield while boss elements to provide a firm connection, keeping the connector seated in your electronics. The UHD is engineered to provide accurate 4K 18Gbps digital transmission with Deep Color and High Dynamic Range (HDR).
