Model 8A MKII

November 22, 2018 by

All Series 8 audio cables are meticulously assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. Series 8 Mark II Single-Ended RCA audio cables begin with extremely high-grade linear crystal copper (LC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications.  Tributaries LC-OFC is carefully drawn to produce a low crystal volume per foot resulting in less signal loss and distortion. Conductors consist of multiple solid gauges that are mathematically and tonally chosen to support low, mid and high frequencies for a natural sounding cable. Individually insulating each conductor yields zero strand interaction and better sound quality. Unbalanced analog audio systems will benefit from using Tributaries Twin-Axial cable design. The precision-twisted Twin-Axial design has dedicated conductors for the positive signal and negative return signal plus a heavy shield that is connected to the source end only. In this design the shield will capture any induced interference sending it to ground at the source end thereby isolating noise away from the input stage of the load. This configuration ensures a clear signal transfer with overall noise rejection as close to balanced as possible. The Mark II cables are silver soldered onto proprietary RCA connectors made with Tellurium (TE) copper contacts increasing conductivity and strength. The end result is a dead-quiet neutral sounding cable that accurately produces the sound of live music

The Series 8 Mark II Single-Ended audio cable is stocked in pair and mono cables in lengths from ½ meter to 4 meter lengths with custom lengths available.

All Series 6 audio cables are meticulously assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. Series 6 Mark II Star-Quad Speaker cables begin with ultra-pure highly conductive oxygen-free copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications.  Two 11AWG conductors consist of multiple solid gauges that are mathematically and tonally chosen to support low, mid and high frequencies for a natural sounding cable. Individually insulating each conductor yields zero strand interaction and better sound quality. It is important to understand that music passing through the speaker cable, is actually an AC voltage, so when voltage passes through twisted wire, there will be additional magnetic fields. Tributaries Star-Quad design not only alternates the positive and negative signal conductors but also alternates the twisted lays in each multi-gauge conductor. Alternating lays cancels all levels of magnetic distortion. The end result is a neutral sounding cable

The Series 6 Mark II Star-Quad Speaker cable is stocked in each in lengths from 4 foot to 12 foot lengths with custom lengths available.

All Series 6 audio cables are meticulously assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. If your speakers are equipped with 4 binding posts they are meant for bi-wiring. One pair is for high frequency and the other pair is for low frequency. If you prefer not to bi-wire, speaker manufacturers provide gold plated brass bars to bridge the negative posts and the positive posts. We recommend that you upgrade the stock bars with Series 6 Mark II speaker jumpers made of high conductivity HC-OFC. Using Series 6 Speaker jumpers will improve the performance of your speakers over standard brass binding post bars

The Series 6 Mark II Speaker Jumpers are stocked in pairs in lengths of 6 inches with custom lengths available.

All Series 6 audio cables are meticulously assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. Series 6 Mark II Subwoofer Mono cables are optimally designed to work in Low Frequency Effects (LFE) Subwoofer outputs of a pre-amp or receiver. Series 6 begin with ultra-pure highly conductive oxygen free copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications.  Each conductor is engineered with dual solid gauge wires that are mathematically and tonally chosen to support lower, upper and mid-bass frequency ranges for a dynamic bass sound. Individually insulating each wire yields zero strand interaction and better sound quality. The precision twisted Twin-Axial design has dedicated conductors for the positive signal and negative return signal plus a heavy shield that is connected to the source end only. In this design the shield will capture any induced interference sending it to ground at the source end thereby isolating noise away from the input stage of the load. This configuration ensures a clear signal transfer with overall noise rejection. The end result is a dynamic bass cable.

The Series 6 Mark II Subwoofer cable is stocked in mono cables in lengths from 1 meter to 4 meter lengths with custom lengths available.

All Series 6 phono cables are meticulously assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. The Series 6 MKII phono cable set is comprised of a S6 Single-Ended RCA audio cable and ground wire. The Series 6 audio cables begin with ultra-pure highly conductive oxygen free copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications. Each conductor is engineered with dual solid gauge wires that are mathematically and tonally chosen to support low, mid and high frequencies for a natural sounding cable. Individually insulating each wire yields zero strand interaction and better sound quality. Unbalanced analog audio systems will benefit from using Tributaries Twin-Axial cable design. The precision twisted Twin-Axial design has dedicated conductors for the positive signal and negative return signal plus a heavy shield that is connected to the source end only. In this design the shield will capture any induced interference sending it to ground at the source end thereby isolating noise away from the input stage of the load. The ground wire is a flexible 20AWG stranded wire terminated with a gold plated spade lug that will fit ground posts that are 4mm and smaller. This configuration ensures a clear signal transfer with overall noise rejection as close to balanced as possible. The end result is a neutral sounding cable.

The Series 6 MKII Phono cable set is stocked as a pair plus one ground wire. Phono cable sets are available in ½ meter to 4 meter lengths with custom lengths available.

Model 6P-IEC MKII

November 23, 2018 by

All Series 6 audio cables are meticulously assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. The MarK II 6P-IEC is a shielded 3-pole grounded power cable that is engineered with 14AWG conductors that won’t starve power amplifiers of current. Designed exclusively for Tributaries by Jay Victor these cables are designed primarily for low frequency signals of 50/60Hz with conductor size and gauge combinations specific for this purpose.  The Series 6 starts with multi-gauge solid High Conductivity Oxygen-Free Copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications. Each conductor is insulated with PVC dielectric material that was chosen to isolate vibration caused by alternating current from entering the signal path. For maximum noise reduction alternating lays in cable twisting is employed. Magnetic fields are created when insulated conductors are twisted in a bundle causing distortion. Alternating the twists cancels out magnetic fields eliminating distortion. 6P Mark II is triple shielded, shielding from RF and EMI noise results in audible improvements by lowering the noise floor you hear and see more information. Termination of the Series 6 power cable conductors involves first preparing the wires by stripping the PE insulation, maintaining the original twist in the conductor and dipping in a high temperature solder pot. This process bonds the wires into one conductor that is terminated in the light-weight nylon power connector. This construction reduces transmission resistance and improves signal flow.

The Series 6 Mark II Power cable is stocked in each in lengths from 3 foot, 6 foot and 9 foot with custom lengths available
